V RAVICHANDRAN BELLI HEJJE 50 CM HONOR

The trailblazer of Kannada cinema great contributor in the field was the guest of honor at the 50th ‘Belli Hejje’ of Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah honored V Ravichandran at a crowded Ravindra Kalakshetra on Friday evening. The event of 50th episode of ‘Belli Hejje’ was special because some of the veterans who occupied the seat to speak about their life sketch were also felicitated with bouquet, trophy and fruit basket by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Karnataka Information Minister Roshan Baig.

Dr Shalini Rajanith, IAS Vishukumar, director of information department and KFCC President HD Gangaraju were also on the dais at this memorable event organized by Karnataka Information ministry.

The honor started from Srinivasamurthy and ended with honor to Dr Leelavathi. Joe Simon, Janakiram, Dr Srinath, Shivaramanna, Jai Jagadish, Bhargava, Protima Devi, Dwarakish, CV Shivashanker, Mukyamantri Chandru, B Jaya,  BK Sumithra, MN Lakshmi Devi, Rajan, Lokanath, KV Gupta, SV Rajendra Singh babu, Rajesh, Ramesh Bhat, Ashok, MS Umesh, Dr Sunder Raj and Pramila Joshai, SK Bhagwan, Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana, Sowcar Janaki, Dr Jayanthi and KSL Swamee received the honors one by one.

It was a special idol of Goddess Chamundeswari in the honor for V Ravichandran. V Ravichandran touched the feet of Chief Minister, Roshan Baig and HD Gangaraju.
